  • Turn them off:
    Turn lights, electronic gadgets and appliances off when they are not in use

  • Thermostat:
    Set your thermostat at a reasonable temperature.

  • Use Natural Lighting:
    Maximize your use of natural sunlight. Open up the blinds and curtains and enjoy some natural light. It saves you from turning on the lights.

  • Energy-Saving Bulbs:
    Switch all your incandescent light bulbs to energy-saving light bulbs. Incandescent bults are very inefficient. Most of the energy required to light up an incandescent is released as heat. On the other hand energy-saving bulbs are more energy efficient.

  • Open a window:
    Instead of turning on the air conditioner, try the window first. It cools the temperature and gets the air circulating inside the house

  • Turn down the brightness:
    Your monitor and TV Screen require a lot of energy to light up. Turn down the brightness of your computer monitor and TV screen to save some energy

  • Unplug your chargers:
    If it feels warm, it's consuming energy. Unplug it!
