Tree Planting
Tree planting is a great way to sequester the carbon dioxide that is in the air. Trees absorb the CO2 and, through the process of photosynthesis, release O2 back into the system as a by-product. Photosynthesis is a process where plants take light energy from the sun, carbon dioxide, and water and produces glucose and oxygen. All this happens inside the chloroplasts holds the Chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is essential to photosynthesis and it is what makes the plant leaves appear green.
